PARIS RIOTS V1.1 BETA DEMO user guide by Jacques Guy

INSTALLATION


-To install the game drag and drop the folder Paris Riots onto your Desk Top or onto any folder. It will create there a folder named "ParisRiots" containing this file, the movie introduction called "Introduction PC", and a further folder called "ParisRiotsFolder" which contains the game itself. To play the game run the executable "MOHAA" in "ParisRiotsFolder" (ParisRiots uses the game engine of "Medal Of Honor Allied Assault" so that's why "MOHAA").

-Pour installer le jeu Paris Riots, jeter le tiroir Paris Riots sur votre Bureau ou autre endroit de votre ordinateur. Cela y créera un tiroir appelé ParisRiots contenant le présent fichier, l’introduction vidéo appelée Introduction PC, et un autre tiroir appelé ParisRiotsFolder qui contient le jeu lui-même. Pour démarrer le jeu lancez le fichier exécutable MOHAA qui est dans ParisRiotsFolder. (ParisRiots fonctionne avec le moteur de "Medal Of Honor Allied Assault", voilà le pourquoi de ce MOHAA)

Si vous avez déjà joué à Medal of Honor Allied Assault cet épisode d'introduction vous sera familier et vous saurez ce que vous avez à faire. Sinon, contentez-vous de suivre vos équipiers. Vous finirez par vous trouver dans une grande salle cul-de-sac. Il s'agit d'en trouver la sortie. La suite au prochain numéro!

This intro episode will be familiar to you if you've played Medal of Honor Allied Assault and you'll know what to do. If not, follow your teammates. Eventually you'll all end up in a dead-end of a large room. Find the exit. To be continued!


ENGLISH VERSION:
The game doesn’t have English sounds. If the English subtitles do not display automatically press ESC for the main menu, go to "Options", "Advanced", and enable "Subtitles" (top of rightmost column).

PC VERSION:
-The introduction movie does not play automatically yet when the game starts. You must click on the file "Introduction PC" to watch the movie. This is a QUICKTIME file and works with QUICKTIME version 6.5 and later under Windows XP and Windows ME. It probably works under Windows 98 and some earlier versions of QUICKTIME but we have not tested that.

-L'introduction Vidéo de Paris Riots ne démarre pas automatiquement dans la version PC pour l'instant. Pour la visionner il faut donc ouvrir le fichier vidéo appelé "Introduction PC". Il est fortement conseiller de le regarder avant de jouer le jeu.
Fonctionne sur Windows XP et Windows ME (et probablement donc aussi sur Windows 98 mais cela n’a pas été testé).

LINUX VERSION:

-The linux version is not ready yet make but you can donwload the patch ParisRiots and drag it into the original game Medal of Honor Allied Assault.
If you have the PC game Medal of Honor Allied Assault, you can install it on the linux system with the LinuxInstall in the folder Paris Riots.
- La version Linux n'est pas encore faite mais vous pouvez télécharger le patch ParisRiots et le jeter dans dans le tiroir main de votre jeu.
Si vous avez le jeu PC Medal of Honor Allied Assault, vous pouvez l'installer sur le system linux grace au patch LinuxInstall situé dans le tiroir Paris Riots.

MAC VERSION:

-The game works on OSX Panther 10.3.8, 10.3.9 and Tiger 10.4.
No special version exists for the time being for MAC Intel.
The introduction movie starts automatically with the game on the Mac version.
-Unzip the folders "Mac User unzip this.zip" and "Paris Riots Mac.app"
(Sorry for this mess but the compression makes a mess with the Mac files!)

-Le jeu fonctionne sur le système OSX panther 10.3.8, 10.3.9 et tiger 10.4.
Il n'existe pas de version pour l'instant pour les Mac Intel.
La vidéo d'introduction fonctionne sur la version mac donc vous n'avez qu'à lancer le jeu Paris Riots!
-Dezipper les fichiers "mac user unzip this.zip" and "paris Riots Mac.app". Désolé pour ce bordel mais la compression fout le bordel sur certain fichiers!
